Post

Unit 1 of Old Post Office Building was sold on 12 January 2016 for £9,014,000. Situated in Leeds City Square, this stunning building is one of the most buildings in Leeds and is famous for his historical value. It was owned by multi-millionaire businessman Paul Sykes who sold this to a UK Investor, who also owns four star Quebecs Hotel.  The Old Post Office, which was built in 1896 by Sir Henry Tanner, is thought to be one of Mr Sykes’ last remaining commercial property assets.

Mr Sykes, who made his fortune with the sales of Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield and Internet service provider Planet Online, sold most of his property investments prior to the crash in 2006 and 2007.
